Climate
change is one of humanity's greatest challenges. We need a completely
new attitude towards resource utilisation to form the supreme article
of faith for self-preservation and fairness to coming generations.
Making the change we need for radically shrinking our CO2 footprint is
the modern-day moral imperative.
ISU is advancing an educational
agenda for a society that seriously believes in its obligation to act
in a sustainably responsible fashion while preserving its core values.
ISU sees its job as sharing knowledge and demonstrating alternatives.
As a forum for the environmental sciences, ISU offers courses,
information, discussions and talks with experts, key players and
committed citizens to pave the way from understanding to action. ISU
reaches out to people for long-term ecological equilibrium, economic
